The journey continues. Embodiment is an on-going quest to reach deeper and more broadly into our bodily inheritances, senses and potentials. Masked by local social conventions of perceptions and movement, our deeper selves often remain hidden, waiting to be called out, welcomed back, allowed to play freely, enthusiastically and creatively.

 

M Body 2 is a contemporary dance concert about relating newly to oneself and others, creating culture and community. Through dance we explore how to compose and combine with those we move with, in both guiding and following, inspiring and supporting inspiration. This year’s M Body 2 continues to work with original video, spoken word and a broad musical palette to enhance the experience of multi-modal immersion in the body as a what and a who, known and unknown, fantastical and home.
